Verizon snags first Rock Band Mobile game

by Shawn Brown on September 17th, 2009

rockbandmobile-pmVerizon tries really hard to provide their customers with plenty of content and cool phones over allowing customers complete control over their handsets, a fair trade off, that’s not for me to decide. Verizon however scores another point with gamers for acquiring a people favorite in mobile form.

EA Games is helping Verizon out with Rock Band Mobile. Now you can jam out anywhere on guitar, bass, drums and even vocals just like you can in the console version. You will not find Rock Band on another provider because Verizon scored it first. Rock Band Mobile offers up songs from 25 popular artists found on the original.

Much like the Xbox 360 version there is an award system in place for meeting specific goals. You can get the game on your handset by texting ROCK to 4263. Just how much is this mobile installment going to cost you? The monthly price is $3.99 but if you feel this is a keeper you’ll have to shell out the usual $9.99.
