Verizon Razzle Set Fill Blitz Shoes, More

by verizon voyager on September 28th, 2009

blitzAre you familiar with the Verizon Blitz? It wasn’t one of the company’s most popular devices but it captured a small, niche crowd looking for something ultra original in the form factor department. But the specs were unimpressive and it looked very… oompa-loompa-ish, if you can imagine what the means. If you can’t just look to the left where we’ve got a picture of the original Verizon Blitz.

If the folks at PhoneArena have it right, the replacement for the Verizon Blitz is a little more classy and the form factor is just as (if not more) original. It is called the Verizon Razzle and it is manufactured by Pantech as the Razzle TXT8030. The Razzle has a swiveling QWERTY keyboard that, when given the merri-go-round treatment, reveals stereo speakers on the other side!

Here is a picture of the phone from the Equipment Guide followed by descriptions of the various parts/elements of the phone’s hardware:

The full QWERTY and stereo speakers are the main attraction and they could lure quite a bit of younger customers. Besides that it has a 1.3MP camera, microSD memory slot, Media Center Player and VZNavigator. It should be launching in October for $60 or so.
