Motorola Entice Deceives With Naming Trickery
| by verizon voyager on September 1st, 2009 |
I bet the marketing execs for mobile manufacturers think they are just hilarious with their naming conventions. A Motorola phone that has just leaked for Verizon normally wouldn’t get our attention, but seeing as how they named the phone “Entice” we figured we should pay attention. We did… and then we felt the trickery descend upon us as there is nothing at all enticing about this device:

The Entice has a 2.2-inch display, 2MP camera, 8GB external memory via MicroSD and touch sensitive music controls. The coolest part of this phone is the transforming powers it has… once you take it home and the marketing name hypnotization has worn off it will automatically change into another phone – the Motorola Youve-Been-Punked-This-Phone-Isnt-Enticing with model number MOTO-YBPTPIE.
