Don’t go wandering into your local Verizon Wireless retail store just yet. In fact, don’t even go on April 10th, the day the title suggests the HTC Touch Diamond will be available on VZW. That’s because according to the rumor published by BGR it will only be for sale through B2B, web and telesale channels.

The HTC Touch Diamond will cost $199.99 with contract and rebate or $469.99 with no strings attached. Other carriers are working on getting the Touch Diamond 2 out while we’re Verizon faithful are stuck waiting the first generation version, but at least they are bringing it to us without dumbing it down too much. The RAM/ROM are cut a little bit but for the most part this thing is packed with all the features intended.

Again, April 10th you’ll need to pick up the phone or fire up the interwebz because the retail launch date is still unknown.
