As it always happens there is a new phone leak, this time its Verizon’s new CDMA/GSM world-phone. The Pantech Escapade WP8990VW is a flip phone which strikes me as a bit odd these days for a world phone as flip phones tend to be a dime a dozen.

The Pantech Escapade features a 2-Megapixel camera, expandable memory via microSD card slot and 2.5mm headset jack. All pretty standard features but where is the wow factor? It comes as no surprise that this is some form of red with a black accent.
