When we first saw pictures of Verizon’s LG Versa it seemed to feature a game pad module that was absent when the device launched. But fear not Verizon gamers, because while the detachable QWERTY is the only module available now, it appears that the game-pad module, WiFi unit and stereo speaker will be available soon. And the game pad could come as soon as April 1st!

This is a relief for those that bought the Versa based on its… versatility, because at the moment it’s a bit one dimensional. Phone Arena is speculating, based on a few images they’ve received, the game pad with 8-way directional pad and various buttons will cost $29 and launch 4/1. Part of the reason for the delay could be that LG is not, interestingly enough, the manufacturer of these modules.
