With Verizon Wireless and Vodafone doing so well together and both moving to LTE for the next-generation networks it comes as a bit of a surprise to learn that this romance just may not be a lasting one.

Vodafone CEO, Vittorio Colao, spoke at an inverters meeting this week said that the board keeps looking at the investments made in the Verizon deal. Now being that Verizon has not paid dividends for the last four years we know that Verizon isn’t really helping Vodafone when it comes down to it.

We do know that the board examines options “regularly” meaning that everyone is watching the door for an exit strategy. It looks like either way Verizon MAY eventually be dropped unless they start getting busy and taking care of business.
