Verizon Wireless has added yet another feature to their Mobile Web 2.0 called MCARDS. In short, it will customers to download various graphical “Greeting Cards” to their friends and family for 99 cents each. After you download an MCard once you can use it unlimited times at no extra cost.

Wondering what you could use these MCards for? Here are some examples directly from Verizon: “Cute Animals, Love Hearts, Flirty, Romantic, Miss You, I’m Feeling…, Disses, For Laughs, Happy Birthday, Sorry, Thanks and Congrats, Good Luck and Get Well, and more.”  You can also make your own cards to send.

What would make this feature REALLY useful is if you could download a specific card, such as a birthday card, and set certain dates that you want it sent to your recipient. With the help of your Voyager and MCards you’ll never forget a birthday again… even if you forget a birthday again!

MCards will be a service provided for Mobile Web 2.0 and VCast subscribers.
