On the Verizon network and waiting for the day when the new Moto Droid is going to hit so you can finally get your hand in the Android-powered goodness? Best Buy’s system is showing that they might have the handset available as early as October 24^th.

Now just because they have it at that time does not mean you will be able to walk into one of their stores and pick up yourself one. There is no rule saying you can’t talk a shady employee into selling you one early for the right price. Hey money speaks, money is the reason they work there in the first place right?

The unsubsidized price for the Moto Droid is going to be $599 if you want it that badly. Personally I think the 4 day wait till its released on October 28^th would be a much better bet and worth the savings. With the largest mobile network let’s just hope there are enough to go around.
