Verizon must not have been thinking when they decided to launch the new BlackBerry Storm 2 on the same day as the announcement of the Android-powered Droid. Perhaps Verizon did it because they are a bit embarrassed at one of the least accepted BlackBerry handsets out there.

If you missed it and the Storm 2 seems more worth it to you than the new Moto Droid you can head down and pick it up for $180 with a 2-year agreement. That’s a whole $20 less than the new Droid which releases on November 6^th for $199. I think for most people this is a pretty easy decision to make. Verizon is offering the Storm 2 in all retail outlets as well as online if you can wait.
