Download YouTube On Your Storm… No Seriously Go Do It

If you’ve had a BlackBerry Storm for any decent amount of time you’ll know that Verizon Wireless likes to give you a little nudge*nudge and tap*tap, encouraging you to download the latest cool app to hit BlackBerry App World. How do they do this? Well by putting the application icon right there on your home screen.
Usually they do this to promote new, exciting apps to hit the market. But the most recent swicheroo? YouTube:

Pretty silly considering it has been available to download for almost 10 months! If you don’t want the icon, feel free to hide it and you’ll never have to see it again. Then again, maybe Verizon feels YouTube should be on your homescreen by default… do you?
