Verizon Wireless recognizes the squeeze being put on them by AT&T and the iPhone with the new pricing starting at just $99. This is why they have decided to slash the prices on all but two of their available smartphones to just $99 with a two year agreement.

In most cases, its hard to find a smartphone for under $100. But right now on Verizon Wireless the exact opposite is true: the BlackBerry Tour and Samsung Saga are the only smartphones over $100 as the others have been dropped to $99 bucks!
